Topic 5: Facilitating Parent Workshop

As a student intern at a school, I had the valuable opportunity to facilitate a Parent Workshop on strategic planning with a specific focus on supporting children over the summer to prevent regression. During the workshop, I actively engaged parents in meaningful discussions and interactive activities, aimed at collaboratively developing a comprehensive plan to ensure their children's continued academic and personal growth during the summer break. By emphasizing strategies, resources, and personalized approaches, the workshop aimed to empower parents with the knowledge and tools necessary to provide ongoing support, mitigate regression, and foster a positive learning environment at home throughout the summer months.
